LOCAL AUTISM SUPPORT and RESOURCE GROUPS
RT Autism Awareness Foundation New Diagnosis Group
RTAAF offers a weekly program, with a curriculum that runs approximately 12 weeks, for parents of newly diagnosed children. Parents learn about resources in the community, develop a connection with other parents, and hear from guest speakers who have expertise in autism. The group meets approximately 3-4 evenings per month. Families who participate may receive one free individual meeting with the CARES facilitator to talk about specific situations.
